Resumé

The head is made of Pentelic marble. The right forehead, eyebrow and cheek as well as the point of the beard are chipped. Traces of paint can be observed with the naked eye behind the fillet.

In 2004 the head underwent conservation and was remounted.

Genstandsbeskrivelse

This bearded man has hair in short locks encircled by a flat band; hair and beard end in small loops.
